Education

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in social work

Experience

• Experience providing psychosocial intervention or treatment using evidence based psychosocial modalities: such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CPT (Cognitive processing therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)
• Experience providing psychosocial assessment to adults as primary client group.
• Experience working independently with minimal clinical supervision.
• Experience working in an Adult Mental Health care environment, including having performed assessment and treatment and structured therapy.
• Experience establishing or developing productive and cooperative partnerships with community based services.
