Education
- STREAM 1: NAVAL ARCHITECTURE
Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in naval architecture. - STREAM 2: ELECTRICAL
Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in electrical/electronic engineering or electrical/electronic technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience in electrical/electronic installation in a marine environment. - STREAM 3: MASTER/NAUTICAL
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience AND possession of a valid Canadian Certificate of Competency as a Master, Near Coastal or higher. - STREAM 4: MARINE ENGINEERING
Secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience; AND possession of a valid Canadian Certificate of Competency as a Second-class Engineer (Motor Ship or Steamship) or higher.
