• Persons residing or employed in Ucluelet, BC and within a 200 kilometre radius of Ucluelet, within Canadian territory, extending to, amongst others: Victoria and Vancouver, BC. Education

• A secondary school diploma or PSC approved alternatives OR acceptable combination of education, training, experience or traditional knowledge relevant to position.

Experience

• Experience in paid or volunteer work interacting with the public in a reception/orientation capacity.
• Experience in anticipating/meeting public needs, resolving complaints, anticipating/detecting incidents and finding solutions.
• Experience in delivering educational or entertainment information to groups in face to face situations, including but not limited to: theatre/performing arts, heritage interpretation, adult education, museum education, storytelling, or walking tours.
